Kaijin Answer (Japanese: 怪人アンサー) is a the answer one of the urban legends that has been circulating on the Internet since 2002. It was later revealed by the story's author himself that it was a fictional story.

Overview[]

It was originally a made-up story created to investigate the propagation and dissemination of urban legends on the Internet. The content of the circulating story is roughly as follows. Phantom Answer is a Phantom that can be summoned through a ritual using a mobile phone. If 10 people line up in a circle and call the person next to them at the same time, they should all be busy. However, there is only one phone that leads to another place. That is Monster Answer. If you call it, it will answer anything, but the answer will ask you a question at the end. If you can't answer the question, you'll hear a voice saying "I'm going now" from the cell phone, and you can never escape, and a part of his body will be torn off. Anser is a deformed child who was born with only his head, and is trying to collect parts of his body to become a complete human.

Ritual Games[]

To play this game, you need 10 people with 10 phones.

Step 1[]

Gather 10 people in a loose circle. Everyone should have the number of those 10 people on their cell phone.

Step 2[]

On the count of three, everyone presses the call button to call the person to their left. (ie A calls B, B calls C, C calls D...DST...J calls back to A).

Step 3[]

Everyone put their phones to their ears and listened.

Since everyone is calling everyone else at the same time, all phones must be busy. No one can accept an answer.

However, what will happen is that one person will find that their call is mysteriously answered and they will hear a voice on the other end of the line.

Here's the answer[]

When you're on the phone with the guy who answers, you can ask him anything. He will answer any questions you ask.

However, once he gives you your answer, he will have questions for you. They say that, if you answer the question incorrectly or are unable to provide an answer, a large, gnarled hand will emerge from the phone and rip off a piece of your body.

According to legend, this man in charge was the ghost of a child who was born with a severe disability. When he was born, he had no arms, legs or chest. He's just the head. Since his death, his spirit has been trying to become a complete human by collecting other people's body parts.
