The Man Dragon was a strange humanoid creature reportedly sighted in 1926 near the Xiaon Te Dam in the south eastern foothills of China. On the Afternoon of January 19, 1926, during the height of the Man Dragon sightings, the Xiaon Te Dam suffered a massive structural failure and collapsed sending over 40 billion gallons of water crashing into the farming villages below. Several villages were entirely destroyed beneath the massive force of rushing water and when the water finally drained the death toll was estimated to be over 15,000. Although most records and reports of this disaster were destroyed by the ruling communist party, many of the survivors of this horrible disaster did confirm that the Man Dragon not only showed its self above the ill fated dam but also to many of the victims.

Appearance

The creature was described as being humanoid in appearance. It was reportedly black or dark gray in color. It also possessed wings and glowing red eyes, just like the Mothman.

Reports of the creature's physical appearance are near impossible to find, but the few details that exist paint a picture of a humanoid entity with enormous wings, similar to other winged humanoids.

The evidence for the Man Dragon's existence is near nonexistent. No photographs of the creature exist and only a handful of online sources appear to exist, with most of them simply referencing each other. Thus, the original source of the claims is unknown. In addition, online searches for a 1926 dam collapse in southeastern China bring up no real results that match; most of the online sources mentioning the Man Dragon neglect to mention exactly where in China the dam is supposed to be located, making further in-depth research nearly impossible. Due to this, it is likely that the Man Dragon is merely a hoax.
