Evidence[]
Two years earlier, on January 16, 2004, a police officer from the municipality of Guadalupe, in the state of Nuevo León, Mexico, allegedly had contact with what he described as a witch.3 This event was widely reported in the media. local and national. Journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan tried to link the event to the Flatwoods Monster case. According to this, Maussan showed images of the Flatwoods monster to the police officer, named Leonardo Samaniego, and stated that the figures were very similar or the same as what he had seen.
Samaniego testified that he saw a large black object fall from a tree on the sidewalk but stop short of hitting the ground. Instantly, the thing flew and then he slowly levitated and turned to face the patrol. Samaniego activated the high beams and could see that the figure was a woman dressed in black with large black eyes without lids. The "thing" attacked the windshield as if trying to catch the policeman, but he reversed but crashed at the end of the street, but not before radioing for help.
