Ninja Banyuwangi are a ninja mass hysteria massacre of people suspected of practicing black magic ( witchcraft or sorcery ) that took place in Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia February 1998 and peaked through August and September 1998. During the first incident in February, many saw it as something normal, in the sense that it would not lead to a long series of events. The killers in this incident were civilians and foreigners who were called ninjas

The ninja was wearing all black and was found using a handy-talky in operation. There are two versions regarding this ninja. Some say that the ninja is a person who only wears a black costume and carries a weapon, while others say that the figure of the ninja they see is like a ninja in Japan and is able to move lightly, jumping from side to side, which ordinary humans cannot do. They are highly trained and systematic.
At the time of this massacre, a group of homeless and insane people appeared throughout the district. Both in the village and in the city. These madmen displayed the odd thing of being able to properly answer the questioner's questions, but when asked about their origins, they would act like madmen. This led to speculation that these crazy people were involved in the massacre. This suspicion was further strengthened by the disappearance of these madmen without any effort from the authorities when the carnage began to subside.
